An immersive installation and performance featuring a Viewing Chair, cocktails, a bespoke music and soundscape pressed onto vinyl alongside paintings and objects.
Crinoline Lady (I Wanted to Be You) explores female archetypes, romantic desire, the traditionally male dominated ‘recording studio,’ and object fetishism.
Drawing from rich autobiographical material, the work blurs the boundaries between time, fantasy, and reality, weaving together lived experience with imagination.
